That's true. But there is protections, even in clearnet. For instance, we can't know from what node a particular transaction is broadcasted thanks to Dandelion++. But you're right, your Monero node is still visible and depending on regulations, it could be a problem. That's why mine is running behind Tor. Like, entirely behind Tor. (Unfortunately, the default Tor mode included with the still allows clearnet connections).
