Yeah and you could have NOSTR groups where you can be certain you’re talking to a real person! AI is so hard now 😂 Or let’s say you wanted to talk to other home miners with bitaxes, etc… It gives like a “proof of worker” badge, so you know they’re actually their tinkering with things. And also the hard to fake component of it. It’s very strong Sybil resistance basically!

Would love feedback, here’s an MVP for: ** Proof Of Work(er) ** NOSTR badge issuance. “Verified Bitcoin Miner” 👷‍♂️ Verify you’re mining bitcoin, and receive a badge as a certified miner. 🛡️ This is a great thing for Sybil resistance as it not only shows a proof of work (static) it shows a proof of worker (liveliness). How does it work? 1. User sends their bitcoin address to the NOSTR bot. 2. NOSTR bot replies with a message to sign, which is the address the user sent plus a 7 digit code. 3. User signs message. 4. bot verifies signature and then requests update mining rig to BTCaddress.7digit code. 5. Bot hits @ocean_mining to verify worker status and hashrate. 6. Bot issues NIP-58 compliant badge.
