This is an Open Source video editor written in Rust. It’s my long-time dream of implementing a usable video editor that’s cross platform. Now this dream comes true. Just 3 weeks into the project and it’s already editing my videos. 3.5 years ago, I started my 1st ever project and luckily it’s a Nostr project. Looking back, I was a naive developer LOL. Can’t believe how much I’ve grown as a developer over the years.

GPT5.6 freed me from spending most of my time writing control flows to designing data structures. It enables fearless refactors. Design the data structure and control flows naturally flow out of the AI. I’m using Rust by the way. Rust is even better in AI coding because it’s type system is so strong that many logics can be baked into the data structures. 20k lines of code on 10 days. That’s speed that I never feel before. I’m taking about ++40k and —20k
