We are building a mycelial network - and Yellow Barn is a node in that network. The Stalk Market is the connective tissue to link the nodes together. To help make them visible. And Picky Pig is the artery system that helps move resources and recycle waste between nodes. The Stewards holistically tend the ecosystem. The Operators build the channels for resource to move. And the Players bring it to life with their participation. This mycelial network needs complexity to be resilient. If one node fails, the entire network can still keep functioning. Redundancy becomes resiliency. There are community nodes all over the globe in varying phases of stability, infrastructure, experimentation, and viability. And the more nodes that are fully operating - simultaneously supporting and being supported by their local communities - the more we can wean ourselves off the current systems that are no longer protecting us. The more we feed the Kraken with our energy, our attention, our money, the stronger it becomes. The bravest thing we could all do is to STOP feeding those systems and start feeding the nodes.
