So I was listening to this podcast with Keith interviewing the author of the book "Austrian Economics an introduction" When they began to discuss the process for opportunity costs and how the ability for one to discern what a such a thing is requires the ability for meta cognition about 2nd and third order thinkings. They made a comment about how socialists never consider these costs when judging if whatever policies they are engaging in actually have the desired outcomes that they seek and it hit me.
