The muted response to your post says so much right now. I actually think the non leftys are even more afraid because no political leaders have any will to do the right thing anymore. And a lot of them short sightedly want non-Democratic rule thinking it will fix things (or get revenge) when instead it will usher in leaders that 100x what modern dictators have been able to do to hurt people. Spoiler alert, they will be among the people hurt profoundly for caring so little about history and their neighbors. I was listening to a good Pod Save America episode last week.
