Went to my local BBQ supply store. I asked about Trager. Gent advised they spend the most on marketing, and have poor reliability. Instead recommended me an unknown brand to me “Z” pellet grill. Its a bit fragile in that it requires electric to smoke. But it keeps the temp constant +/- tens degrees F. I’ve done 12 hour smokes. The bluetooth/wifi/app doesnt work. I didnt want this, and the grill came with it. Going strong 2 years in. Downside for this and any pellet smoker is temps are capped around 500F. If you want higher temps for steak probably you are looking for a gas grill.
