Mixing music is something that takes a long time to learn, and it takes time to train your ears. This time can be shortened by going to work for a studio, or having a good mentor. Without these things , knowledge comes from trial and error. You’ve gotta release crappy records , a lot of them , before you start to really see the picture. This picture is blurry at first , but with each bad recording or bad mix, you start seeing the picture better and better. Time to get back to this mix!
