Yeah, apparently they simultaneously tested a grilled pineapple patty for a vegetarian burger for the Catholics. The filet o fish won out.

I worked at McDs back in the day. I'll tell you the fish patties often sat in the warning drawer for way too long making them rubbery. That fact plus cheese on fish sandwiches in general is gross and weird. The McDs tartar isn't bad though.
