My response to this is that God only created the non-elect to destroy them in eternal torment for something they could never do anything about to change. It makes God unmysterious and eliminates the possibility that God offers a choice for all to accept or reject the gift of sacrificial love and salvation. This perspective oversimplifies the death of Christ as not able to pay for the sins of the entire world... only the pre-selected lucky ones.
