yes, but no need for fear mongering, ac motors are used in a lot of appliances used on the daily - doesn't mean that that exposure will harm us. I'd love to see any evidence on this type of exposure and the effects it might have on humans as this has been studied extensively for decades. and while that does looks alarming, if you're really worried about that exposure - moving the blowdryer a few inches away from your head will reduce "exposure" sharply.
