that's what was said back then about people using scripting languages, too. is it that different than some IDE scaffolding some code? it depends on what you do with those tools. I don't think it is. it all depends on if you know what you're doing. Before people stupidly entered something in google and copied snippets from stackoverflow... I don't see how some tool good/bad. it depends on what one does with it and how it is used.

we have good devs, who are now more efficient and even better devs. it’s kinda the same discussion as when we got scripting languages.

that’s an independent topic of Bitcoin, isn’t it? And actually independent of AI, isn’t it? How many crappy and not working nostr apps did you recently use ;) but generally I very much agree. those apps are also not to use, nobody will use them anyway. I wanted to more share how impressed I was that it seems to build something like that in one shot and even have the prompt written by AI. The agent already tries to do end to end tests. basic pen test are also possible already I guess. We’ll see where this all goes. I like NWC there as I can have very strict permissions and move the control outside of the app. So the trust I need to have in the app is minimal.

I've asked my personal AI agent to build a web application that integrates lightning with replit. So far it can not interact with the Replit agents directly But it gave me a prompt for Replit. Replit then built and deployed the app...in one shot. From idea to working product with zero human intervention. It deployed the "Instant Lightning Paywalls for Anything" https://instant-lightning-paywalls.replit.app Try it: https://instant-lightning-paywalls.replit.app/p/link-1wdtHd Now because such paywalls are kind of the "hello-world" of lightning apps I then asked the agent to build something more fun and interactive. It then created a prompt for Replit to build SatsStream Pro. "Hosts stream live audio, listeners pay per minute via Bitcoin Lightning. Connect your wallet, tune in, and sats flow directly to creators every 60 seconds." Here I had some minor adjustments with a few prompts and spent maybe an hour on it. Amazing that the agents already manage to create and deploy such applications. Not long ago you would win multi-day team hackathons with such an app. https://sats-stream-pro.replit.app I am not sure how stable it is, but I'll let the agent monitor it and fix things while you (humans?) use and test it.
