
Wtf makes you guys think that choosing core = choosing lopp or choosing knots = choosing luke?? We're choosing code, not maintainers. Obviously. If that wasn't the case, NO ONE, other than a few retodds would run core. What boggles my mind mostly with this op_return change is that the core devs think the right move is to go ahead with it when there is clearly a divided opinion about it. Since it doesnt DEFINITELY save bitcoin it should NOT be implemented if it is the cause of a large scale debate like this. No change is better than controversial change. OR at least compromises should be made, like what happend during the blocksize wars. This luke quote is ABSOLUTELY THE LEAST IMPORTANT ARGUMENT IN THIS DEBATE. Is it indicative of a person that apparently values fiat laws over human rights, yes absolutely, and thats not great at all, but its not an argument in the op_return debate. Its a valid argument in the "is luke a white privileged dickhead" debate.
