Fact of the matter - if Im being honest with you.. The sheer number of laptops I can see on my desk right now is too high and I think I'm ready to admit that.
The truth is - I have had enough #coffee for today and its not noon yet. The hard truth - I will likely have more. πͺ
Listen, I understand how people will be terrified by this, but a can of tuna on the skillet, curry powder spice, cook it with ghee, then scramble eggs into it. Its frkn delicious and I'm not afraid to say it out loud anymore.
I wanna take this moment to show appreciation for the guy on the internets that lead me to find out the importance of the thinkpad red dot in combination with the middle trackpad button. It is in times like these, where it is crucial to admit that I have been wrong. That I have neglected that nipple for decades and I see now that I have a debt to be paid. A scrolling debt. I pledge - wholeheartedly - that I will scroll - and I will scroll unneccessarily much - to make up for the time lost with the two fingered approach or even the now disturbingly misguided dependence on the external mouse scroll-wheel. I know better now and I will do better and be better. Thank you. For you attention to this matter.
Sure, but how the fuck is that going for us atm π₯Ή
Disastrous. Watched this at 9am this morning. Straight up went down and fired up my "barbie", just finished devouring the result. Not sure if I should be proud or not proud of myself
Its hilarious - parallel to the omarchy craze - while I havn't had the chance to check it out - I've spent the last few days learning about Arch + Hyprland setups. - I set up i3 on ubuntu on my daily driver, played around with that for a day or so. - booted up a machine I had lying around with Arch to try and get a feel of hyprland. Looked cool, so i began preparing for a more automated way to provision such a setup (inspired by youtuber typecraft and his github repo) - removed I3 on daily driver and immediately missed the shortcuts and tiling that I hadn't even gotten used to yet π So: - Decided to finally pick up a project i've been postponing which is externally flashing coreboot on an x230 thinkpad I had lying around and then installing arch and trying out that more automated provisioning setup. Got to a good place in this project, went for a workout, podcast in ears, I hear DHH on lex friedman "omarchy is basically Arch + Hyprland", im like lol haha My x230 bout to get riced out either way. Might make it look epic manually and then go back to daily driver and just spin up omarchy there once I've learned the ins and outs π
#bitcoin is one large shitshow right now. Its extremely discouraging that I would NOT be comfortable advising a company to implement a bitcoin strategy (be it savings or accepting payments) right now. Bottom line (and it hurts to say this), the bitcoin eco-system is just not secure right now. Meaning basically the only thing you could reliably do right now is self-custody. How would you advise a brick and mortar shop to accept btc right now and why? It used to be the downside was speculative/volatility. Now, its just plain i in the software you would use to interact with it, and that kills the whole use case for mass adoption.
