
Estimated... So it's made up? Why combine both variables (married, homeowners)? Seem unrelated. Today many couples think formal marriage is overrated. I can't blame them, legally you can have the same by just signing a shared household contract. That didn't exist in the 50s. Besides the stigma of "oh, they live together but aren't married! π³". Nobody cares nowadays. I think there's interesting value by looking at the (presumed) decline of homeownership of 30yo, but combining that variable with marriedness seems pointless and distorts the otherwise interesting data beyond recognition.
