I'm new too nostr but there's always been talk about low engagement. I have a feeling lots of sites are gonna KYC social media soon and that will hopefully drive adoption.

Ah I see. Yeah I hate politics and how in the past 10 years or so politics became so many peoples identity. And if you point it out you get the "well ackchyually everything is political" excuse so they can keep arguing political points.

I think we all have our own problems and idk what it's like outside the US but if people here were complaining about Canadian politics I'd be frustrated too. Ted Cruz should be exiled to an island and we can just send a boat with supplies every month. Just sell it to him as early retirement on a private island.

I was just being silly I don't hate anyone. I think people complain and don't leave because even though they complain it's not the country they dislike it's the government. Finding balance within government is far from perfect and can swing in extreme directions dissatisfying large groups of citizens. When that happens don't judge you fellow citizens due to them not liking something it just means you have to work together to find a fair balance.

Until they take Ted Cruz back the hate will continue.

Yeah it's sad to see it go this way. I understand companies and such having centralized systems as their priorities are different than individuals. But people ignoring centralization because it pays them is opposite of the original goal. Hopefully in the future we'll still have decentralized options like XMR.

I still find it strange they ignore all the centralization and organized shilling. When it comes to privacy they don't really seem to care it's just a marketing term to them.

It sucks the US won't build more reactors. They keep trying to build up AI with zero thought on where the power will come from. And ignoring the fact that it's raising demand and therefore prices.

And I'm pretty sure a lot of the hateful people and moon boys in xmr are influenced by intelligence agencies running ops like chaos and COINTELPRO. It follows the formula of divide and conquer by creating infighting within community and movements.

I get what your saying but trying to push them out will only make them react out of spite. By definition I'm a racist antisemite but I'm also an adult and understand how to treat others. And I don't apply blanket judgement to any group. Most of the hate people assigned to certain groups is just organized crime hiding behind political/religious movements. Not the actual majority of the group. The people who push the monero is a "Nazi" coin are going to say anything to pump their bags of rival tokens. It won't stop even if you push people out of the community. It's kinda a damned of you do damned of you don't situation. Money makes people act with poor character unfortunately.

So the only downside you find in monero is a minority of people you disagree with? You should consider minding your own business and let strangers believe what they want. Not defending anyone but it doesn't matter what they believe it's not my business. I have friends who have totally opposite beliefs but it doesn't stop us from being friends. We just don't talk about certain topics because we know we disagree.
