What payment method do you use on Bisq ? I want to buy in size this year, mostly BTC but also XMR. I think north of 100k. I want to use Bisq. Cash by mail is the most private option I can find on there but it won't work for bigger amounts. I'm left with Revolut. Any suggestions ?
East germans have lived under communism so they have the ability to recognise it's traits. Centralisation of power, censorship, attacks on the discidents, pushing narratives through the controlled mainstream media, it's all there. No wonder east germany voted massively for the AfD, they recognise the #EU for what it is, a corrupt to the bone, communist system which aspires to regulate our existence to previously unimaginable levels. That's why freedom tech and freedom tools are more important than ever. @Wasabi Wallet
Looking at Wasabi now as a means to build an anonymous stash. I read in the documentation that you can opt to spread your secret key in different places to secure your wallet and then havee to come up with parts of it to sign transactions. But what about old fashioned multi-sig where multiple keys held on multiple devices are required like 2 of 3 or 3 of 5 ? Is this solution available ? Is the solution to send funds from Wasabi to a properly set up multi-sig, keeping only spendable i.e less meaningful amounts in Wasabi ?
Monfluo. The easiest of them all. Send/Receive. That's it.
It's a great idea. Offramps are indeed an issue for many Bitcoiners. However I have positionned for this bear market and whilst slow accumulation is a great idea, I need to acquire in size in short bursts of time this year.
Aquiring btc anonymously remains the biggest hurdle. I'm done with CEX, the worst solution by far. I'm looking at Bisq maybe combined with Wasabi in some fashion. How should we consider BTC bought with Revolut on Bisq and then transfered to a fresh adress through Wasabi in terms of privacy ?
"It might make sense just to get some in case it catches on..."😉
I've been thinking exactly along those lines. makes the case that Bitcoin is a better store of value than XMR in his "Praxeology of privacy". So then, why not use the properties of XMR to anonymize one's BTC? A swap to XMR and then back to a freshly created BTC adress. Wouldn't this anonymize BTC? Of course then it's all about it's use, careful management and so on but at least source of funds should be pretty hard to figure out shouldn't it?
We know this intuitively, but do do you have good sources to substanciate the claim?
