Gonna overclcok my bitaxe something fierce untill bip-110 activation. Doing my part. Fire the malicious miners! Rug the spammers!
How has ironclaw been working out for you?
my node determines what miners pay themselves. My node tells miners not to pay themselves if they incorporate arb data into their blocks. A fee of "infinity" was just humor for saying that my node rejects miner submitted blocks with transactions containing arb data in the op return over 40 bytes.
Ok. Thx, i will.
Exactly, and as a node runner, i am setting the fee to infinity for arb. Data.
Not high value to him. he was not the person wanting the transaction, rather high expense, as he is the one who would do the service of storing the txn on his node forever. From the node runner's perspective, arb. data is infinitely expensive to store and no fee could ever be enough to cover the cost.
What solution do you propose to solve the problem of arbitrary data outpricing monetary txns? Again, bitcoin is money. If bitcoin is to be used in a way other thsn money, it therefor is not money. Please dont say that it is both money and not money, but that is indeed what you are doing when you "ignore" the arb.data.
Yes, it does have that problem, and that problem is solved by making data storage more difficult and more expensive not easier and cheaper.
Programmable money is still just money. Cloud storage is not a monetary property. Lets at least have the humility and wisdom to wait until 2140 when the block subsidy stops and then see if security is underfunded.
Cool. Im glad that you and i are not like some of the og bitcoiners who think it is cloud storage.
