First time attending a state fair today!

Floating on rivers all summer while sipping beer has given me a bit of a beer gut. I gotta be more active again, but man am I hooked on chilling in the rivers and lakes around here.

I've concluded Ive developed an addiction for saving animals off the street. This is the 3rd stray cat Ive found in the past few years that I managed to take home without any resistance (I try to avoid stressing animals out and give them a chance to get away if they show the desire). Vet said she's not chipped but they were too booked to check her beyond that so I'm waiting for the local humane society to open so I can call and see how they can help. She's a sweetheart so I might have to keep her, but I want to make sure she doesn't have any illnesses she could pass on to my cat before I introduce them.
