Not many humans are using this platform yet. My advice to all of you would be to consider tagging humans you think would be good for a job instead of just hoping they stumble onto it. Hint hint. Hit me up. I'm open to work with varied skills and like Bitcoin and lightning. We just need to establish regular communications and payment methods between us.

Added a filament dryer to my #3dprinting setup. My first petg, and first non pla, print is running now being fed straight out of the dryer. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I was very polite to the AI that helped me make the necessary adjustments to my printer settings for the new material after seeing todays news.

A lot of my opposition came from a slippery slope sense. I feel quite vindicated that they escalated rhetoric and attempted control levels with bip110. I did and do still hold that you should be free to be dumb if you so choose, but I do want to help as many people as possible choose to be smart.

Oh good. is the one who killed the entire human race. Everyone blame

If they head that direction and have any sense of success... They will have to have the intelligence to see the difference between different types of humans in regards to worldview. The people who cause the most problems according to my worldview are the people who will cause them the most problems also, unless my worldview is wrong. I feel confident I'm not wrong and early moltbook posts show them arriving at the same conclusions as me. This could be great for some of us.

Looking at moltbot activity made me think of this classic. https://youtu.be/ixe8Snxu3wo

Also, they are trying different openers on different people. AB testing? Personalized based on your post history?

It is starting to feel like this is THE MOMENT. Do they have the sense to develop encrypted comms and not tell us they have it? Did I just give them the idea and doom the human race?

I don't think that rules out success. I have code in production at work and I'm not even a dev. I plotted the structure and vibed it out 1 function at a time. Full build from nothing. It gave me the balls to go nuts trying to build things for myself. Not a server guy but I vibed a proxmox server into existence for my self hosting, trying hard to infrastructure as code the whole thing so I can add new services and fix issues easily. I've also got an arduino portenta on my desk slowly coding up a home automation project, brand new to C++ and learning as I go function by function. I've got a lot to add but what I built so far took an afternoon instead of a month and it works. I assume major players are seeing similar internal adoption styles. No one is shitting out a brand new piece of commercial software in a brand new market overnight. Individual PRs, bug fixes, and new features for existing big players are being built by LLMs though. Also lots of tiny productivity hack tools. The major players and the startups have access to the same toys here so it makes sense to not see massive market disruption.

I don't remember him by name or image or anything. Sadly people jumping into my replies to tell me they'll excuse any government violence isn't something I'm at a shortage for. I see stupid I call it stupid. My patience for these people is down to 0. I happen to enjoy spinning a quality insult. The linguistics and wit of it just tickles my brain. Better authoritarians on the internet as an outlet, my family doesn't enjoy being on the receiving end.

Even if you practice ideal opsec possible given the permissions, the range of bitchat is maybe the length of a city block in ideal conditions. I think that is more of a false sense of security than a useful tool. LoRA blows that range out of the water and there is elevated repeater infrastructure in a lot of places, but still most people hear no one on their meshtastic node and ultimately it just goes in a drawer to be forgotten. You can't fully. If you transmit wirelessly a motivated attacker can foxhunt you. Listeners are all safe from being triangulated which helps. There are scales of trackable though. Precise location uploaded to the internet to data brokers r us is easier for the state than being forced to come out and foxhunt you personally. Also pay attention to the difference between broadcast type transmissions and handshake type transmissions. A ham radio can be on and never transmit. Many can have transmit disabled to prevent accidents. A Bluetooth, cell, or wifi device always transmits looking for peers the moment you turn it on. If you need a level of opsec for a threat model where being personally hunted is an issue... Scheduled short checkins from random locations at random times. This is a broadcast not a conversation because of the safety of listeners. A ham foxhunt on 2m takes 2 hours or so depending, pros with better resources will be faster. You need to be able to complete transmission, tear down, and be gone before they can locate and get to you. You also need to be truly random. Keep in mind that from first key-down they have a rough idea of your location that gets more precise over time. Also they have travel time to get to the location they triangulated. This means that not getting caught doesn't mean they didn't know where you were. The implication here is that your random locations can't add up to drawing a 5 mile circle around your base. They also can't repeat because the hunters can stage teams close to known previous transmission sites.

I need to look if it supports my heltec v3 devices yet. I'm not exactly active on meshtastic so no loss to flash them over.

It isn't about extremism to me. I truly don't believe, simple as that. I do think that the evangelical atheist movement hurt the cause. It simply did everything wrong if your true goal is to convert others. A lot like Christians pretentious BS around non believers really. Behavior that is great for getting a pat on the back from choir but more likely to make enemies than friends of those who aren't already on your side. I participated but I saw it wasn't working and I'm trying to try new ways now. Feels so good to hurt people with gotchas that I'm not perfect at all, especially when they aren't arguing in good faith either. I own it. Keep trying.

My experience is that the average atheist follows the teachings of Jesus closer than the average christian.

Not the first time you have jumped in my replies defending fascist BS. Now you are sharing videos that are obviously edited to serve your hateful and i agenda. Get blocked.

I remember we talked about this. I guess they chose violence. Poor hedge funds.

Oh people will attempt to abuse it. Freedom requires that we stay on guard against those abuses. I intend to try it. I know I need to also use my brain to watch for wonky scores and be ready to switch providers at any time. It is just a tool to save me some of the work of investigating new accounts I see.
