This year, a 22 y.o. guy from Spokane, Washington won the biggest event of the year, with a $10M first prize. For all the shit his generation has endured, is enduring, and will endure, it feels good to see someone so young win. Not sure of his background, but he doesn’t come from money by the looks of it either. Well said! It’s an interesting reflexive occurrence, I’d call it a property but that feels too strong without evidence or study. Maybe a topic for sociologists to investigate, if they haven’t!

Every so often the “Nostr is dead” discourse picks back up, and this time around I found more active users engaging with me just as that’s happened/happening. I’ve also made an effort to find more of said active accounts to follow. Maybe the protocol self-selects for anti-fragile users that will contribute effort in reverse proportion to protocol growth? Just a theory :)
