You and me both. Just trying to build
The more Costa Rica booms, the higher the level of immorality in contracts and higher the extortion. It's fascinating to watch. Small guilds extort foreigners, prices get driven up, ticos blame gentrification and the foreigners which to a point might be fair but to get any return of capital, all prices have to rise to cover the guild extortion. Mostly lawyers and civil engineers. Crazy societally but the market will keep driving it. Not sure how locals keep up. I do wonder if they look at architects and engineers in all the flashy cars, will they eventually join the dots? Doubt it, easier to blame gringos. Pura vida indeed!
Well am talking about people who've been in the space over ten years and are fed up with what they see. Not sure that's necessarily weak handed but fair enough
Always remember what you find culturally annoying is often reflected in things that other culture's find annoying about yours. Try to find the positive thing you actually like. Every culture has stuff you'll find annoying. Commonly yourself own too!

Models only improve through creative destruction driven by data
Should be a few of them before next leg down
Possibly but it might also suggest a hybrid model is the correct approach. A business not solely focussed on btc income but dual fiat/btc. Corp treasury goes into btc as well and a policy of maximising corp spend in btc as well for any required services. That would be essentially sucking in fiat to promote btc adoption. Not dogmatic enough fir some but it might be the way to nudge transition. Dogma usually becomes self defeating
I've heard that coupled with anger at the infighting
Is inveterate gambling the natural end state of any fiat system before collapse?
