is great for sharing bitcoin with people who don’t yet have any bitcoin or even a bitcoin wallet. However, when I compose a specific denomination, it ends up being a lot of tokens - in other words, a very long URL that I’m trying to use. The web URL is so long that messaging apps often don’t even recognize it as a link… and it can even look a bit like a scam. In printed form, I can’t use animated QR codes. I understand that using powers of two has many advantages, such as privacy or simpler splitting and merging. However, wouldn’t it make sense in some cases to create one-time exact denominations? Or to keep it composed of many tokens, but allow the mint to temporarily group them into a single alias? Since there is already trust in the given mint, it feels like this wouldn’t introduce additional risk. What do you think? ? 🙏
