In the month of August, our team run in the preparation of our Lightning infrastructure upgrade an expanded stress test of our node & routing infrastructure. Within ~9 hours, we successfully routed close to 1m$ worth of BTC payments via the Lightning Network - and we were positively surprised that not a single attempted payment failed. We would like to thank all our peers for their contribution to make this test such a success - as well everyone who contributed to the software stack which made it possible to conduct tests at such scale in the year of 2025.
