Today one of my friends accidentally tapped Princess Aurora from behind with the screen door. It barely touched her. She yelped and screamed and literally fell over. He felt terrible thinking he hurt her. I explained we're going to the vet I think she got banged up too. At the vet I told her that anecdote. After thoroughly examining her the vet said there's nothing broken, but if we were hit from behind it makes sense that she might be a little sensitive and scared about getting hit from behind. She might overreact but that makes sense all things considered. Isn't trauma weird? Like even spoiled princess dogs can get freaked out from past events. Be gentle to yourself, Anon. Be gentle with each other. We don't know each other's past 🫂

Today someone brought me fresh veggies from their garden. Another person brought me arnica patches and otc painkillers they stockpiled from Mexico. Yet another swing by to drop off some CBD oil. Someone picked me and Princess Aurora up to take us to the vet. She's fine and they love her there. The puppy's gotten many pets. I feel very loved. It really highlights what I was moving for, because after less than a year here I'm cared for by all these folks. Community is so important 🥰
