Coinkite is implementing CODEX32 from Polestra?! So f***** excited to try that! Agree with on Bitkey marketing campaign - FUDing seeds while being able to block (no pun intended) exit of funds during some kind of regulatory action is an unfortunate direction. Hope that gets better.

Right, personally I’d hate to have any stable coins. UK citizens are better off finding ways to accumulate bitcoin instead of 20k in USD.

Sats are not hard, literally the least hard thing to understand about Bitcoin. That said it’s irrelevant because anyone paying in bitcoin already knows they are not paying any version of multiple bitcoin for a thing in a shop. I do think it probably creates more noise for block’s customer success team though. ā€œThis guy paid me a million dollars for a sandwich but that isn’t reflected on my square dashboardā€

Things like BIP 444 seem so utterly ridiculous that the psyop appears to be that they exist in the first place. Are there is any significant portion of bitcoiners that are that dumb?? Who the would believe Justin Bechler? But people like Samson or Knut - that’s where it gets really disappointing- seriously guys? Maybe I’m the IQ 80 in this simulation but don’t think so. Luke just appears to be a conservative control freak. It’s so confusing how any of this works apart from staying humble and stacking sats. Which is why I’m liked bitcoin in the first place - everyone hates each other but it still keeps working!

All the bros doing positive return posts on rate of return from side investing the extra cash per month of a 50 year mortgage - knock yourself out, your figures are assuming a lot and who do you think wants a 50 year debt?

Satoshi was British. Their identity is irrelevant. Change my mind. Genesis block references a British news paper, pineapple on pizza.

I’m observing the group chat on the fork. There’s like 500 new messages every time I check telegram - if this was work I’d definitely be getting everyone on a zoom call to thrash it out - in fact it deserves an offsite.

Following James Blunt on X was a surprising - I never expected and Nick Carter to show in the list of followers although of course was a follower. You’re beautiful everyone.

Erratic Bitcoin discourse and opinion is a superpower.

Probably for the best I signed up again after years away and it’s non stop drama and engagement farming. Still the level of disfunction on knots vs core is front and center there.

I think you have to have an X account to experience the level of disinformation and questionable behavior and comments towards core. From big names in Bitcoin too. It’s confusing or enlightening depending on how it sits with you.

The 20k limit on stable coins backlash on the UK seems misplaced. Remind me why a limit on CBDC usage is a bad thing?

Forgot about Perl. I once spent 30 days straight writing Perl for 18 hours a day. A single file, one massive file i think. Hell.

The Gmail Ad model is hilarious- if you turn off ā€œpersonalized adsā€ based on your data then they just fire ads at you that are clearly based on your data but you can’t dismiss them.
