I once spent a week troubleshooting a massive CNC machine running windows NT, because we thought PC wasn’t communicating to the giant machine. Turned out, the CRT monitor was just missing the color green, and the text color was exactly #00FF00, so we literally just couldn’t see the output. So dumb, lol.

I might be biased, considering I’ve “nix-ified” nearly every device in the house, but I’ll add a big +1 to nix-bitcoin. It’s been rock solid for me. I deployed it in a NixOS container a couple years ago, and I just did another major version update on it a couple nights ago. The update went super smooth, no issues.
