The session yesterday on the introduction to the technical side of #Bitcoin was great. We appreciate our guest educator, ,for accepting our invitation to lead the session for Chapter 9 of the #Bitcoin Diploma. We learned about public key cryptography and how digital signatures are key to proving ownership on the #Bitcoin network, as well as the role of hashing. Great final session of the week! We covered Chapter 7, Part 2 of the #Bitcoin Diploma, where we discussed key factors to consider when choosing a Bitcoin wallet, how to set up a self-custodial wallet, and the importance of securely storing recovery phrases. Students followed a step-by-step guide to ensure everyone understood the process of sending and receiving #bitcoin.
