Had an interesting discussion with my pops recently. He’s of the mind we’ve gamed this out for the last 40 years and we’ve got this. Sounds very one-sided. Very little curiosity. Reminds me of a time not long ago when I too thought our “leaders and generals” were brilliant and on the right side of history. I guess it was actually a while ago since I’ve thought that.

Started it with a few min at work. Liked so far but feels a bit sterile in the early setup. The prose feels more like describing a movie you’re watching rather than being in it, feeling the scene when reading. (So reads like an AI was involved)

They justify it by saying US and others interests align. But again, which “Americans”? the rich international crowd of entitled Epstein pedos? The dude just lost his job? Elderly deciding how to make ends meet? Yeah, our interests align when we’re spending our (but not their) severely limited blood and gold to bomb similarly disenfranchised dudes across the planet? Got me going. Gonna go stack more. Fuck em.
