If you don't see the rot and corruption in Bitcoin Core, you are just not paying attention. This is not about vilifying individual people, but it is shocking that someone went from an alt coiner ready to give up on 'blockchain', to a bitcoin core maintainer in just a couple years. And it seems obvious to me this person was not promoted because of their dedication and history with Bitcoin. I participated in the Chaincode Labs BOSS challenge earlier this year, which is run by Adam Jonas, who is featured prominently in this video. While the program was free and I learned a lot, it left a bad taste in my mouth. They refused to explain the criteria to advance to the second round, then simply cut off access at an unannounced time for those who didn't make it. I left feeling they are looking for devs who will jump the highest when they tell them to, and dangling grants in front of them to keep them in the game. They are turning bitcoin into a career path instead of a tool that can free humanity.
