Looking to acquire one of these bad boys. 1950s Primus no. 71. Gasoline, single burner. Say what you want.. but newer tech isn’t always better. I have an MSR pocket rocket in my day bag.. hoping this will replace it. Isobutane is convenient but damn the cells are expensive.

Curious to see how it feels in hand and operation. I know the dual fuels are bullet proof from experience. Love restoring them.

Coleman is about 3lbs and 7in by 7in. The Primus is 1.3lbs 3.7in by 3.7 in. Pretty close to half the size.

Those are absolutely great but a bit too bulky for the day bag. I keep one in my bug out boxes though.
