If I can purchase a digital gift for someone a and can receive a gift, why can't I gift someone a digital purchase, and loose access? Physical media was better. Solved by P2P technology but media couldn't try ownership?

Shocking, but not surprising. It wasn't too long ago that I could walk down the road, go through the doors of my bank after a years with no contact, no transactions and ask the teller for an account statement. This was normal. Deactivating and some basic security checks, I could almost forgive, but needing to 'maintain presence' or be tracked is not the social contract I was hoping for. Such a waste of everyone's time. Appreciate the heads up.
