A 19 old that wants to (legally) immigrate will need the following vaccines: 3 doses: Hepatitis B, Polio 2 doses: Hepatitis A, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella (Chickenpox) 1 dose: Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis), Meningococcal ACWY (MenACWY), flue(Influenza). We can only hope and pray that RFK Jr eventually revises this or that you can easily get a exemption.

These ideological politicians worry me, since they are bound to get us involved in something bad. Especially, since the EU population keeps of voting for them. My son and since 2020 my daughter can both be called to serve in the military. I am staying outside of the country just to be safe.

My oldest took a gap year to finish her Japanese Language Proficiency Test certification. During that year, she decided she wanted to attend New Saint Andrews College because they focus on culture-building and prepare you to debate and defend your beliefs. My second child (14) has already finished his high-school math, so now we’re figuring out what to do in the coming years. I’m not convinced a college STEM program is necessary unless the subject is something you can only learn in a college research lab or similar setting. I did one year of university and then quit because I thought it was a total waste of time. I ended up working my way up the ladder at companies—since they all train you anyway. At one point I was a Senior Quantitative Analyst working with a bunch of PhDs. Nobody ever suspected that I didn’t even have a bachelor’s degree. Going to college should be a 'No', unless you can gather enough reasons for actually investing the money and time. You can at least avoid capital gains in some countries, like Portugal. Living without some Fiat in the bank seems unlikely for a family with kids in these countries atm.
