I suppose. To me marketing implies revenue as in its definitional meanjng business process of identifying, satisfying, and connecting with customers to promote and sell products or services Bill Gates talking about the internet, who owns the OS the networked computers run on, kind of misses the point. We could just as easily say that what nostr needs is a generational entrepreneur to create a product and business that impacts the entire world. Nostr is the current, best solution for a number of issues we face today in the digital world. In my opinion those issue largely touch on deeply personal attributes. Most people do not care about censorship resistance and identity ownership and the way to show them the importance of those issues is not marketing. Education yes but now we are maybe crossing the line of simple semantics.
So the open protocol internet as we know it came to be largely due to successful marketing?
I don't think there ever existed conversations about who was responsible for marketing TCP/IP Here we are though...
Found a new playlist a few weeks ago. After hours of listening I began to get curious... Looks like the entire project is AI Not sure how to feel about it but I know I do feel differently Wild times, man

Clearly talking about nvk
AI cannot do biological elegance, but if humans stop outsourcing their humanity to institutions, and let AI handle abstraction, something remarkable becomes possible. The question is not: “Is AI replacing humanity?” The real question is: “Will humans finally stop trying to behave like machines?”
