Crypto scams are everywhere, and some of them pretend to be us. Here are 3 things Ledger will never do, so you know what to watch for. 🧵

Your Ledger is built so that you never have to trust anyone else with your keys. Your keys stay on your device, under your control. That only works if no one talks you into handing them over. Scammers know it, so they go after you instead of the hardware.

🚫 Ledger will never call you directly. If someone calls claiming to be from Ledger, they aren't. Caller ID can be spoofed to show our name and logo. Hang up. Don't call back on a number they give you.

🚫 Ledger will never ask for your 24-word recovery phrase. Not by message, email, call, form or website. Not for "verification", "review" or "processing", and not for anything else. Your recovery phrase should only ever be entered on your Ledger device, and only when you're recovering your wallet.

🚫 Ledger will never send you a direct message. That covers DMs, texts, WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord. Anything that says "Hey, this is Ledger" out of nowhere is a scam. Don't click links or reply. Block and report.
