The trick is to never borrow more than the money you have behind you. In many ways being a successful thief of sats is no different than being a winning poker player. Lots of bankroll management, odds, variance and yes, the stakes you're playing at. If you sit down at a $100 cash game with a $100 bankroll odds are that you'll bust out - same goes for trading. Know your stakes, manage your bankroll and NEVER borrow more than the money you have behind you. For Bitcoin that means, I cap at 3x and I "ladder" into buys and Bitcoin would have to crash to something like 40k for me to worry.
