The issue was never wanting to work. Working keeps you sane. Gives you morals, teaches you how to be a man or a woman. This is 100% correct. It’s always been about being tired from working and your money getting #devalued the second you’ve earned your pittance. Not having something to show for your hard work. Not being able to get the bare necessities of some land, and crops and cattle to provide for your heirs. Instead being a cog in the world of #modern #slavery to work until you #die. It’s funny, I get this quote from when I was like 12 or 13 years old. “Time is money friend”, learnt from a Goblin in from the MMORPG #WorldofWarcraft Haha! Imagine. Learning time is money from a game people laughed at. If time is money, don’t you want your money to not lose value? That’s where #Bitcoin steps in. We’re in a timeline where we have something which has a hard cap. 21,000,000 coins will ever be minted (or mined). There is no super power that can control it. For the first time us individuals can own something before it becomes an IOU. You decide. Do you want your money to #depreciate or #appreciate? #TimeisMoney, friend. I can argue the same with I can use my card on most things but there’s still transactions that require me to use cash. Similarly, most things can be purchased with bitcoin, especially now that there are options to pay with gift cards, and soon integrated wallets into the ecosystem. But yes I agree, there are still things you can’t pay for with bitcoin, but I still believe it’s a matter of the party not accepting bitcoin itself. Rent for example, you can easily convince the landlord to accept bitcoin, they just need some incentive - they just choose not to as it’s not legal tender yet. I agree it may be related to lifestyle and maybe location too. I know 80% of how I live I can pay with bitcoin. Funnily enough I still choose not to, as I don’t want to decrease the amount of SATS I have … not yet anyway. Maybe in 20 years time when everyone else is using it as a norm and our conversations are just a part of history 😄
