I was asked to help a widow of a silent key empty her storage unit. It was hard work. They had accumulated #radio equipment over 70 years. A #ham since he was 10 years old. There is so much, and she knew I couldn't just throw it away. Old tube receivers, transceivers, a linear amplifier.... Tubes and tubes and tubes. So many antennas. My dad had to haul out the big quad antennas. I was gifted a brand new hex beam as well, still in the box. I got home today and I'm unloading. I filled the bed of my truck and a uhaul trailer. 70 years of this man's passion. I have to keep it alive.

Doubtful. National Guard might be providing security to border patrol agents... But there is constitutional clause against the federal government maintaining a standing army inside the united states. Only an armed insurrection or a direct attack from a foreign nation would allow the president to activate federal troops in that manner.

Elephant ear(monstera) will take over if you give it sun and water. It cares not for temps below about 90*F, but it definitely won't do well in a freeze. I have one I have to cut back aggressively. It even thrived through 110* temps for 4 days when the AC failed and I was out of town. Its taken over half my kitchen and I've already given cuttings to everyone I know, so now I'm cutting it and throwing it away. I've also had good luck with philodendron, spider plant, and aloe vera. They all survived the AC failure, but were a bit more challenged. They all had water from a little auto watering pump I got. I've also had good luck with Basil if I change dirt frequently and clip it regularly so it grows bushy instead of spindly if you are looking for something you can cook with.

Might try doing some silk screening at home. That would be cool.
