4 weeks ago, I started #carnivore — only meats, eggs, cheese, butter, and animal fats. I quickly felt and looked better. I wasn’t overweight before and had no serious health problems; I just wanted to try out the proper human diet. A few days into the diet, I noticed shortness of breath and a heavy heartbeat just from walking up slight inclines. I figured it was just my body adjusting. However, it seemed to get worse rather than better. I also had no energy to exercise, which had been part of my plan to build some muscle. Three days ago, a friend suggested adding a small amount of carbs in the evening to help refill glycogen stores. I followed the suggestion and added two slices of homemade emmer sourdough bread I still had in the freezer. The next day, I already felt better walking uphill. The following day, I had two more slices of bread and felt even better. After the third day of carbs, I started exercising again, and it was much easier. However, the downside was that the bread made me bloated again. It seems I need to find a different source of carbs. My takeaway is that my body performs better when I include some carbs in my diet — eating more #animalbased rather than fully #carnivore. #bitcoin #libertarian
