For sure, I’ve seen the effects of screen time on me… don’t want that to be a way out for whenever spending time with my children and it’s a slippery slope, no turning back once that dopamine is unleashed on kids

That’s a good approach. Instead of telling our daughter, “no” we also redirect her in a positive direction, like, “let’s do it this way” Hope to navigate parenting in the best way possible, but I can’t shield her from the world entirely, only guide her to make better choices.
