What I end up doing in these scenarios is to ensure that I have ssh-copy-id setup to the vps then get Claude code to ssh and fix the issue. Did this recently with a proxmox container running openclaw

It is like a vps but it's on- demand (no ssh setup necessary since all that is abstracted away in d cli tool). You have the ability to spin up and shutdown/pause the sandbox. Its just another option among the ever growing list of running agents in a sandbox.

One would think this would be obvious. Chat interface isn't always ideal. UI is still really important for the vast majority of users.
