Yeah even with a Virtual environment. In my scenario, I was setting up a new environment on a new PC running fedora. Tried using uv but ended up with missing dependencies. Very weird problem. Just ended up letting AI brute force a solution so that I could run the app.

Python local development is the worst. JavaScript development with all ots problems is just miles ahead better. Trying to run a project that is in production locally resulting in weird dependencies issues. Even with the likes of uv that claims to be python solution to dependency management everything is still broken locally. Only working solution right now is inside a docker container which isn't ideal when developing
