I'm curious what's the perceived benefit of teaching a kid to read so young? Based on Waldorf philosophy, my understanding and personal experience is that the best thing for them is to read when they're ready and can create mental images of what they're reading; for some kids this comes early and for some surprisingly late. Anyone with a kid that started reading it three years old around that can report how much they love reading when they're 15?

I remember getting very interested in it and wanting to read it after being obsessed for a little while with Roger Waters' album that was based on it, but I never did read it. Thanks for the reminder.

ACIP Voted to Remove Hep B Vaccine for Infants Recommendation today. The most obvious and difficult-to-defend evidence of mainstream pediatrics' assault on humanity is being repealed after 34 years. This is a victory, but Hep B shots at birth are surely not their most egregious practice. We must continue to expose and opt out of this madness. What can be said about all the doctors who ordered and administered Hep B shots at birth, and who defended this practice, for the last 34 years? What about the doctors that allowed the needle to pierce their own perfect babies on the first day of life? They cannot be trusted unless they have had a major personal revolution, and maybe not even then. If everyone fired their pediatrician who went along with this, basically no one would have a pediatrician.
