I've been to combat twice, I watched US soldiers go out of there way to get in front of kids, lay on top of them to protect them. While at the same time I've watched our opponents literally put women and children in front of themselves as shields. Blame the politicians, not the soldiers.
I've been using Lawnchair for sometime now.
Sometime today relay.pleb.one may go down for a short time. I'm going to be working on having nip-5 addresses for relay users... So you could be [email protected] ... At least that's my plan.
Earlier I posted about some updates to NostrFeedz. Once that was out I started working on the NostrFeedz cli client. Will keep y'all updated.
I will be doing some work on NostrFeedz today, so it may be up and down. I hope it does not disturb the maybe 4 or 5 people who use it.
lol, yes I did, thanks for the emotional support.
I’ve been taking taekwondo with my kids, but I really want to get back to JiuJitsu, I am considering just doing both.
Been working in 3 projects at once today, getting myself confused…lol
I’m working on the command line version of my webapp NostrFeedz. I’m working on how to deal with images. In the right terminal (kitty, alacritty, ghostty) they come inline. But in others, do I have it so they open in browser, image viewer, maybe a hover to image viewer? #dev #terminal https://nostrfeedz.com
Nothing like clocking out of the ole' office.

Going to make a cheatsheet applet for the Cosmic Desktop today, I can never remember kb shortcuts for half the things I use, so maybe it will help.
I’ve decided my brain cannot contain emacs and vim commands at once, so sticking with Vim
I always switch back and forth from the digital and analog tasks, journal, notes life. I love being on paper, but carrying something to write with 24x7 is hard. I’ve tried hybrid, but in all reality digital thoughts never make it back to the paper.
Today I will try emacs.
Back to the full on cli MicroBlog client, it would be terminal dependent if I wanted it to render images and video.. people would have to run certain terminals.
After my last post using mb-cli, I am wondering if I should have it make me proof read before it sends.. or make it an option to turn on forced proof reading. Typos kill me.
I am in this build cli/tui app mode since installing Omarchy. I’m now thinking of a full blown MicroBlog terminal client.
This is a little crazy, Crucial has always been my goto for memory. Micron Announces Exit from Crucial Consumer Business | Micron Technology "Micron has made the difficult decision to exit the Crucial consumer business in order to improve supply and support for our larger, strategic customers in faster-growing segments," https://investors.micron.com/news-releases/news-release-details/micron-announces-exit-crucial-consumer-business
Currently I have fastmail, Hey!, Gmail, and Proton accounts for email. I think I’m going to try to consolidate to Hey! and Gmail only.
I’m pulling the feeble MacOS support from MB-Cli, github could build packages, but I really don’t have a way to test or troubleshoot it. It’s basically Linux only.
It’s the day of many cli-tools, so much easier when there is no Gui to create. Here is a quicky I made to post to my DayOne Journal from the cli, it uses your Gmail account to post over email. github.com/timappled… https://github.com/timappledotcom/d1
Omarchy has Voxbox installed which allows me to do voice dictation so, I’m actually trying it out on the command line to see if I can do this micro-blog post.
This is just a test
I’ve started playing with Fizzy from 37Signals to see if it helps me keep my projects any more organized. I need to do something.
One of the next phases for NostrFeedz is going to be a Desktop app. I am toying with it being a command line app. Any preference out there? I lean towards tuis but accept that I am a nerd and others may not accept that.
Combat vet turned indie dev. Freedom Tech, folk and Americana music, family, the outdoors, and the dogs (I think they are in charge) My Nostr Projects list is getting a bit long, so you can visit it here... https://pleb.one/projects.html
