Lollll my watermelon still have seed leaves 😬 we had a very late frost this year and it took over 2 weeks for them to germinate!!! I thought for sure they were done for... hope we have a longer hot season this year...

Theyre pretty easy! A good beginner crop to try. Nice motivation booster hah I have a bare section I meant to sow a second round of radishes a coule weeks ago but I forgot. Oops...

Pulled a couple early radishes cause I couldnt wait. Brushed a little mulch aside and saw a few shoulders! I wish there was smell-o-vision cause its so insanely garlicky! And woooboy is she spicy! Anyone have a good preparation for radish greens?

Def gonna be doing that. I thought it was just the roots but I'll def chop and drop em too now! I've been sticking the spent flowers into the dirt next to my strawberries in hopes of clickbaiting some pollinators... lol probably futile but its fun

I usually grow a ton of cherry tomatos and will pick one normal sized to grow. Usually its some boring early girl or whatever... I should do one of these interesting ornamental/heirlooms next year!

Supernice! Finally got some little fruit buds or whatever theyre called coming up

2 days ago they were half this size! Bet yours will catch up real soon. I also threw some liquid fish fertilizer on em a couple days ago so that certainly helped.

Finally getting some fruiting! Indigo ruby first out the gates this year. I decided to let most the suckers run on this plant. Here's another indigo ruby growing in the beds. This one is a hefty boy. Was worried the leaves are too big and maybe too heavy on the nitrogen... Fruiting there too though so phew.
