You're certainly not entirely wrong and on surface I agree with you. And there are certainly degrees in which this is happening. For most artists it doesnt happen all at once, its usually ramped in parallel with their success. They erode the artists personal identity over time to shape it to their vision. Most the time it isn't someone embracing their sexuality in the way they deem fit. Its almost always forced on them in the way deemed to make most $. And to your point, yes this video is taking the extreme cases. But it happens in all shades of grey, pretty much throughout the industry but this toxic culture stems from the majors. The video may have an alarmist taste to it but the evil is very real right now.
The cardi b situation is different and I dont entirely disagree with you on that. Certainly the scenarios are not mutually exclusive. But just so we are crystal clear... it needs to be stated in no uncertain terms, coerced sexual exploitation is happening in the music industry today. Again, I have first hand experience on this topic. The careers of many popular artists today have been shaped over the years very intentionally by their managers and label reps to progressively ramp up the sexuality over time. This is not a female only issue. If not the sexuality, its almost always written into contract terms that management or the label have full control over their entire look/persona in any public setting. Most artists do not like this (creatives tend to want to walk their own path) but most will see $$ and compromise their own personal morals to achieve their "dreams". The industry preys on this. It is not a question of projecting morals or anything else like that. Its quite literally the total control of a person's public persona at any cost, for the sake of $$. And most the time that coercion comes at the compromise of the coerced own person set of morals or conviction, wherever on the scale it lays, because the sharks can always swim lower.
Funny you shld say that name. I happen to know someone who was framed by them.
Its hard on the good ones because the industry often rewards bad behavior (or at best turns a blind eye)
Mandibles is one of my recent favorites. Its technically not a bitcoin book and it's fiction but it's one helluvah case for getting some... just in case...
Truth alone is no where near powerful enough
Been traveling and missed it. What did they talk abt?
This is happening very intentionally in the industry and there are label(s) who will go to great lengths to retaliate against anyone that makes waves. I am two degrees away from one of the people named in this video and much of this is true.
Yestr. Im bullshit on GM PV 🤙🏽 and tards wan nurmies tuh nowe.
Its not a ridiculous take at all. Morals aside, the progression is absolutely intentional and the go to playbook. Have first hand industry experience and heard the discussions. I've also seen what happens to those who push back against it and I know of one major label who regularly goes beyond career-ending levels of framing/retaliation.
Like it or not, USDT does matter as its being widely used in the crypto space and gaining significant adoption at the institutional level. To those people and their customers, it certainly matters. CBDCs aren't actually rolled out but they are certainly very far along and will have a forced adoption at that point, they will absolutely matter (just not in a positive way).
What the crypto kids dont understand is that it isn't strictly about "superior technology". We already jumped that shark. Adoption and usage matter more right now.
Its an epic tale but the short of it is an Australian convict escapes prison and hides out in the slums of India, slinking through the underbelly of an otherwise hidden India. Along the way he undergoes a spiritual awakening. The characters are well fleshed out and feel alive. You feel the pain, anguish, and triumph each one undergoes. You follow the main character in and out of prison, running jobs for the mafia, and a whole host of other crazy underworld situations. Despite the story being set in an entirly foreign situation from what most would ever dream to encounter, the parallels of the heart stay true no matter the setting.
Zapped you with the image! 🐳 🤙🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽

Its very long haha but worth it for the storytelling. An epic tale of adventure in the Indian slums.
You've got to be absolutely fucking kidding me right? No goddamn chance in hell I'm actively funding war with my Bitcoin. Dude, read the bright orange room. BTW how's your trade going? I'd rather send my Bitcoin to a low-effort nostr fake scammer. You either die a hero or live long enough to become the Peter Todd.
Free Market Education is an interesting idea
Hit me with that scrumpypumpy v67 lolllllllll

One step at a time, you're on the right path. Reach out if you're stuck on anything specific - lots of here willing to help! And as shitty as this is, it's unfortunatly not a unique story. I've heard similar things happen all the time, its no different than people getting deplatformed on social media... you're just a commodity at best and its cheaper for them to stick their fist up your ass than actually try to help. Normies dont understand... you do not just simply upload music direct to spotify.
And if its not, bet u could find a hole to squeeze into and make it work
And just like nostr can benefit from RSS... RSS/pc2.0 can benefit from Nostr's community. Yes, nostr is difficult to learn. Yes, integrating nostr can be a pain in the ass. Yes, you already have solutions and sometimes nostr feels like shoehorning it in... ...but nostr offers more than just a tech upgrade. Nostr's giga brain pool brings a slew of devs who can build slick UIs. A whole bunch of autistic cat and dog avatar devs who can optimize and streamline data. A whole bunch of bitcoin tech plebs who can collecticely do more research in a day than a single adam curry in a year. And we have a social network that believes in the power of bitcoin, helping the underdog, and sticking it to the man (traditional music industry in this case). But they wont do it unless it's worth their time and its being used by nostriches. Ok, well theres, a ton of orange pilled music fans that are also decentralized freedom enthusiasts. I'd bet they'd be willing to give decentralized music a shot as soon as its nostr-fied. Just look at wavlake and the support it gets because its nostr native and became a part of the nostr community. Sometimes one step back lets us move two steps forward instead of constantly banging into a wall out of stubbornness. I say this with love.
Regardless of where you stand on the issue, modern mining is separated into block creators and hashers. We are still too centralized when it comes to block creation.
