Yeah squashes need a ton of water

Early season i had to hand pollinate early in the morning (they close up again by early afternoon) to get them going. And you gotta be diligent cause i find the female flowers tend to only open for a day or two. Is yours at least producing female flowers with a baby squash at the base of the flower? Even then I can only get one (or two if im very lucky) to take at one time. 3/4 always end up shriveled in the compost pile (bad/no polination)

A distinct childhood memory of mine... We used to play in the woods. Maybe 3rd or 4th grade at the time. One day, bigger kids came and started shooting us with paintballs. Everything we showed up, they were there. This went on for a week. I got fed up with it. But instead of whining or tattling, I saved up my chore money and convinced an older kid to buy me an airsoft gun. I took care of the paintball problem. These are the lessons kids today arent learning. They run to mommy and daddy when things get uncomfortable (and later to uncle sam). Instead of learning to solve your own problems, you learn to cry about it and let someone else fix it for you, to their advantage. Turn this ship around. Start raising children hard again.

Yeah id say almost like a very mild and slightly bitter mint. Another good prep is to slice it small like 1in x 1cm and sprinkle on top of fried rice.

We traded freedom for safety. I might be amongst one of the last generation who got to grow up coming home when the street lights came on. That's not a meme, that was reality. I got to make my own choices, make my own mistakes and learned to handle them on my own. I knew if i fucked up too bad, I feared the stick and it kept me mostly in line. Lately ive started letting my son roam the neighborhood on his own with his bike after school. I let him go find other kids on his own. (There are some of his friends who are still restricted like cant go past the stop sign 3 houses down). Anyways, I think its good for him. No scheduled play dates, no specific geofence. Make a judgement call yourself and fully face the consequences good or bad.
