I never even heard of it. Unsurprising, since our government paid media fucking sucks.
Omega candle incoming!
Interesting, I would think Roblox would thrive in an AI game environment.
Bitcoin doesn't make insiders rich by dumping on retail bagholders. Gotta create shitcoins for that.
My culture is not your costume! 🫰🫰🫰🫰
Makes me wonder what advertising was like during the gladiator battles? 🤔
That was spot on. I remember Kaiser having a similar take about usdt.
I've always liked their ruleset. It's changes things up a bit from what we're typically exposed to.
I'll have to listen to this. Thanks for posting
At least they don't have digital adds moving around in the octagon, like the NHL has.

That was when I started to move away from paying attention to the UFC, I wasn't sure if they changed things up or not. It's too bad... Although I don't watch fights often, when I do, it's either boxing or OneFC.
Makes sense. Can't live in a Bitcoin, ya know.
Maybe they should show each fighter's lightning address beside their name, when Bruce Buffer announces them, alongside a QR code for zaps 😂

Interesting, I didn't know that. I haven't kept up with the UFC in a long time. Maybe it's time to pay bonuses in sats 😂
I haven't kept up with the UFC in a long time. What's the ruling on sponsors? Are the athletes still able to display sponsors on gear and banners for extra cash?
Yeah, the pay isn’t great for lower-level UFC fighters. To be fair, that’s partly the nature of the sport. Technically, fighters are only performing for up to 15 minutes, and $10k+ for under 15 minutes of actual fight time sounds pretty solid on the surface. That said, we all know those 15 minutes are backed by constant training, camps, weight cuts, and wear and tear. When you factor in the hours spent preparing, it’s a lot of work for that money. In the grand scheme of things, fighters earning a $10k base aren’t big names. They’re not the ones selling tickets or PPVs, so the revenue they directly generate is limited. I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the UFC covers medical expenses related to injuries sustained in the fight itself, but not injuries that happen during training.
I'd recommend any long form discussions involving Mitch Sylvestre, David Leis and Keith Wilson.
