Exactly. That has always been my philosophy: never force people to believe—encourage them to think. Conviction doesn't come from someone telling you the IMF is wrong or that the entire system is broken. It comes from experience and from discovering real value for yourself. Six months ago, this was just an idea. Today, the **Bitcoin Diploma 2.0** pilot is being taught in **6 public schools across El Salvador**, with **15 teachers**, **6 tutors**, and **hundreds of students** learning about Bitcoin, money, savings, and financial responsibility. The biggest lesson hasn't been about Bitcoin itself—it's been about people. We've seen teachers who had never used Bitcoin become confident enough to teach it. We've seen classrooms filled with questions, curiosity, and meaningful discussions. Every school visit, every mentoring session, and every conversation has helped improve the program. A pilot isn't about proving you're right. It's about learning, adapting, and building something that can last. There's still a lot of work ahead, but seeing Bitcoin education become part of public education is something I never imagined I'd witness firsthand. That's a great question. From what we've learned during the **Bitcoin Diploma 2.0** pilot, ministry support was essential to open the doors and coordinate implementation across public schools. Without that institutional backing, reaching multiple schools in an organized way would have been much more difficult. That said, genuine interest doesn't come from a directive—it grows in the classroom. That's why the pilot wasn't just about delivering curriculum. We've focused on continuous mentoring, classroom visits, teacher support, and regular follow-up. That's where you see the difference between a teacher who is simply fulfilling a requirement and one who truly embraces the material. We've seen both. Some teachers started with little or no Bitcoin knowledge, but through consistent support they've become genuinely engaged and eager to learn more. Others have progressed more slowly, and that's exactly why pilot programs exist—to learn what works and improve before scaling. In my view, it's not about **top-down vs. bottom-up**. Institutional support opens the door, while grassroots work with teachers and students is what creates lasting adoption and makes national scaling possible.

When I started designing the pilot program, I asked the Ministry of Education to randomly select six schools. Each school has a different number of teachers who teach a subject called "economics and finance." Therefore, I created tutor positions where tutors accompany each teacher in developing the diploma program and deliver it to each of their students in that subject. In this case, the teachers are being tutored; visits are made, and they are accompanied in the classes they teach.

Bitcoin has never been just about money. At least, it hasn't been for me. Over the last few months, I've been fortunate to help build something I deeply believe in: bringing Bitcoin education into public schools. People often see the milestones, the announcements, the photos, and the metrics. What they don't see are the long nights, the difficult conversations, the changing plans, the uncertainty, the responsibility of making decisions, and the constant effort to earn the trust of teachers, students, institutions, and an incredible team. Building is rarely glamorous. Some days you feel like you're making history. Other days you're simply trying to solve the next problem before tomorrow morning. I've learned that education is proof-of-work. It can't be rushed. It can't be faked. And it certainly can't be measured only by numbers. Every teacher willing to learn something completely new... Every student asking difficult questions... Every tutor giving more than what's expected... Those are the blocks we're actually adding. Bitcoin teaches us to think in decades instead of days. Education teaches us to think in generations instead of semesters. If we get this right, the real impact won't be visible this year. It will be visible years from now, when today's students become builders, entrepreneurs, educators, and leaders who understand freedom, responsibility, and sound money.
