@News With the launch of the Kord Breach season, Escape from Tarkov will be getting a Battle Pass. It will be free, and every reward can be earned simply through normal gameplay. It will be available across all game modes - Seasonal, PvP, and PvE. Its progression and rewards will also be shared between them. To progress through the Battle Pass, you'll need to find TerraGroup documentation during raids. This is a new type of loot that functions similarly to task items, meaning every player can pick it up, even if someone else has already done so. These items can be found while playing as either a PMC or a Scav in every game mode. Documentation comes in several different types, each tied to specific locations. For example, one type can be found on Streets of Tarkov and Customs, while another appears on Factory and The Lab. Unlocking each Battle Pass reward requires turning in a specific type of documentation. If necessary, you'll also be able to exchange one type of documentation for another.

@News By participating in a season, you'll be able to earn exclusive rewards. Rewards are unlocked by reaching certain level milestones or completing a seasonal task line. Once earned, these rewards become permanently available to all of your characters, both seasonal and permanent. The Kord Breach season rewards will include trade offers for various pieces of Black Division equipment.

@News Something big is clearly brewing in Tarkov, and the situation around the region has become increasingly unstable. Scav Bosses armed themselves heavily and are now firmly entrenched in their territories. To prevent further escalation, trophies looted from them have been banned from the Flea Market. At the same time, rumors suggest that now might be the right time to start stockpiling that kind of gear. On top of that, they say that night raids have become quite a lot riskier…

@News One of the changes coming in update 1.1.0.0 for Escape from Tarkov is a rework of the side task system. The vast majority of tasks will no longer be organized into chains where each new task unlocks only after completing the previous one. Instead, they will be tied to trader loyalty levels. At LL1 with a trader, a set of basic tasks will be available. To advance to LL2, you will need to complete several of them. Each new LL will unlock a new set of increasingly more challenging tasks. The rewards for these tasks will be more focused on cash - unlike the current system, where a significant portion of the payout consists of barter items and equipment. Most trade offers will become available immediately upon reaching a new LL with a trader, without being tied to a specific task. For example, the Tri-Zip backpack will unlock at Ragman LL3, and the DevTac Ronin helmet - at Mechanic LL2. Some tasks will remain exceptions to this new system and will continue to unlock in chains regardless of traders’ LL. Rewards for these tasks will include especially rare trade offers or crafts. The key rewards from such task chains will be displayed as soon as you accept the first task. This will allow players to see in advance what they can ultimately earn. The main goal of these changes is to make progression less linear and less dependent on specific tasks, providing more ways to gain access to useful items.

@News Black Division’s operation in The Lab continues. Despite the extreme danger, the blacked-out underground complex is drawing increasing attention, while Mechanic's work continues to drag on. The in-game event “Blackout” in #EscapefromTarkov has been extended, and its end date will be announced separately. Complete the associated tasks to earn a unique achievement.

This weekend, XP earned from raids in #EscapefromTarkov will be increased by 25% - both in PvP and PvE. This is a fixed value for all players and is applied instead of the edition bonus.
