Simplex's X account got hacked along with hundreds of thousands of others to hackers promoting a crypto scam. It's crazy how X can be even compromised which is apparently a government platform now that Elon's in the white house. How safe can a centralized platform be? This is why we need to encourage decentralization simplifying self hosting deployments for mobile operations. If we don't transition to mobile development because people are on the go & cell phones are cheaper then computers then we will struggle to make progress while centralized services will remain king for the next 45 years.
