For sure. It’s just a tool, like a hammer. You can use a hammer to build a neighborhood, or use it to bludgeon children to death. For me personally, the bad outweighs the good. I guess I lack self control. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I too was planning to switch to graphene when the Motorola handset dropped. However, I also just want to call and text (podcasts and directions too) without Apple or Google services. I’m switching to the light phone III instead. Rather than try to shield my smartphone data, I realized I really don’t want a smartphone. I can do what I need to do on my Linux desktop and not be online all the time. I want to be present. I can’t accept 3 hours a day of screen time anymore.
