Very beautiful! It's so sad that the large vendors have worked hard against web app development, if they didn't, we'd be able to do translucent web apps long ago. Here is a suggestion, maybe you already have it: Allow me to right-click either on a full markdown or specific text and execute OpenCode or another CLI with some parameters and have it generate and expand upon the content. AI agents are very useful at building lots of documentation, for itself to consume and build, but there is currently a very lackluster experience organizing all these markdown files and system architecture documentation.

It's kind of like how we have YouTube working today. Unless we create a decentralized and distributed YouTube, we can't expect capabilities such as big LLMs to be decentralized either. Small Language Models and smaller LLMs will only get better and more people will be able to use them, but the cloud-based AI will always be far ahead, just like YouTube is far ahead of anything else. I think though we'll be able to do training more easily on rented hardware. I remember when the GPU-mining race was going on, I thought in the future most of these GPUs would be rentable for other purposes.

Delete for profiles is based upon the "id" of your profile, so it will only apply to one single version of your profile. So it's not a problem if the kind 5 delete event is spread around. Delete of addressable events, such as article, will force you from successfully re-creating the same event kind and identifier.

does automatic perform "deep discovery" if it can't find the user profile on their relays (10002 relays or kind 3 relays). A lot of users have modified their relays, but not re-published their profiles. So it's fixing up the fragmentation on the network while being used. Blasting profile everywhere is not ideal, it just increases storage requirement globally, it doesn't scale to put every single profile on every single relay. Profiles should primarily only exist on the user's account relays, that's where it belongs and that is where users will find the fresh profile.

It has been my long term plan to add community/Discord/Slack-style features to . It's already overwhelming with features and I'm working hard to optimize performance and tune the user experience of what is already added. This recent development means I have to accelerate those plans and add more Discord-features. So either I help you out with Flotilla, help you improve the app and service so we can prepare for adoption, or I work on Nostria. I know you're not the biggest fan of AI-driven development, right? If I would help you out, the majority would be written by models. It's a difference though between someone with 28 years of professional developer career using AI, and some random kid who wants to become a millionaire over night. So I would love to help you out and continue develop Flotilla, but it would mean I would need ability to commit directly, you would not be capable of handling and reviewing pull requests manually. Another option is that I help you out with how to setup use of AI on your own, that's the best way to be successful here. You already have the tools available for you to make it great, you just need to apply them. It's better that you do it, than me or someone else contribute, you know it better, you're best equipped. "New follower" is of course supported already. Unfollow is not really possible without some processing. Following requires the following: The person who follows you must publish the following list to your account relays where you are the last entry in the following list. It will not give you notification if you are somewhere else in the list. Now the question is, how would you be able to get an event when you are unfollowed? It means you would have to listen to kind 3 (follow list) updates for everyone that has ever had your public key in their list... because we can't subscribe to your public key anymore, since it's "gone" now and the event won't be received from relay. Yeh, Nostr protocol does allow a lot, but it requires a lot of processing for certain things. Your wish is better off for a specific service that does this monitoring and indexing, can be done, but means to build an index over all follows and track unfollows in real time and persist the events. Why am I building ? To earn enough money so I can work on this for a very long time, of course. But that's not the primary goal of it, that's just a means to the end of building this fantastic experience. Nostria is about human connection. Back when I was growing up, there was something called BBS, Bulletin Board System. This was small communities where you phone up with your computer to a central, where people could post notes on a digital bulletin board. It was a very social place, especially for computer nerds. When the World Wide Web arrived, it was a very cold place. I didn't use it much in the beginning because I felt it was a cold, inhospitable place. It was, and it still is. It tricked me, and it trick all of us, into believing that it could be a social place to gather with family and friends, to enjoy and prosper. Instead what happened, it that everyone was put into the same rooms. People with very different ideals, morals, passions, views and values. Dropped into the same ring, and instead of being something good for humanity, our physical desire and need for social interactions, was exploited by corporations. We started arguing and fighting. Dissolving families, friends, relationships. Many attempts were made to ensure people kept coming back, such as groups. Groups on Facebook has been very valuable for me, I've enjoyed a lot of great conversations and learnt a lot. It's now been years since I left most of the groups and I don't use Facebook much, just to keep in touch with that one person who is stubborn and doesn't want to install freedom tech. Nostr creates clusters of social networks through the architecture of the protocol. Groups is not needed, dynamic and organic groups form through the following and interactions. Anyone can access any information, but it usually does not surface to my screen. There is no algorithm that attempts to optimize my screen time by showing me posts that would trigger my instinct to prove someone wrong. Everyone knows the meme about someone being wrong on the Internet. This is the best way to get engagement, everyone wants to correct each other. My single most popular post on X, is a mistake I made, not intentional. Nostr is built on cryptography, unlike centralized social media. That means we all together, is building a strong Web of Trust network that cannot be unbroken, it cannot be infiltrated as easily. With the growth of AI and bots, this is very important to keep humanity sane and well. Nostria is built to enrich your life, through connections and interactions. Nostria rejects the model where you are the product. Nostr needs to mature on many areas, Nostria will do its best to help with this. One of these areas is how content gets promoted and traction. Everything we post is not equally good or important. This post as an example, is for me important, I'd rather want this to get traction, than something else I've posted. Today there is primarily two ways users are discovering content: Through your "Following" feed and "Trending". This is very rudimentary and we need more balance. A lot of good posts today, ends up with zero interactions. It doesn't have to be like that. Trending has very obvious issues and their metrics is easily exploitable. They are regionally useless, meaning that if I live in a global region that has little Nostr adoption yet, it doesn't give me any relevant trending content for my region. It also is not relevant from the viewpoint of my social network. It's a global perspective. Nostria is building its own Search Relay, with the purpose of enabling a more balanced and personalized trending view, that is relevant for you. We hope this development will be a very welcoming one. It's about enabling access to indexed data in the way you want it, not to build yet another centralized algorithm. Nostria has an algorithm already, it's built into the app. It's based upon your actual usage, which profiles you interact with. It's only local and private, ensuring privacy for you. With the Search Relay, I can combine this algorithm with the searchable posts - to provide you with a much better social network experience, where the valuable and meaningful posts will reach your eyes.
