The hypathetical was to demonstrate the principle, that there is clearly a prefference for less rather than more spam (though i'm not sure you agree from your responce). I'm not trying to put words in your mouth, but if your own hypathetical were to become reality, are you fine with there only being a handfull of nodes? As node running will be priced so high only a handfull of institutions could afford to run them at that size. This is a big topic with lots of moving parts and i'm not under any illusion that we will hash them out here. But I'm trying to understand your position, not straw man your argument, so less snarky comments would be appreciated. If you don't wish to engage meaningfully don't waste your time or mine.
